Shiron Kirkman

Marketing Executive

Shiron Kirkman is a marketing professional with over twenty years’ experience. As a marketing consultant for The Articulate Pear she draws on her diverse experience in the retail and corporate sectors and her experience in events and website management, copywriting and digital content marketing.

Shiron was instrumental in the conception and running of events such as the Taste of the Riverina and unWined in the Riverina and spent 8 years with De Bortoli Wines as event coordinator and later project managing their website and digital media.

Shiron holds a degree in information science and diploma of freelance journalism. She is a member of the Australian Marketing Institute and has completed the Association for Data-Driven Marketing & Advertising (ADMA) course in content writing and the NSW TAFE Wine Industry Leadership Program. Shiron has a passion for writing, keeping up with the social media landscape and a keen interest in analytics.

Maddison Curtin

Graphic Designer

Maddison Curtin joined The Articulate Pear in 2018. She graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Graphic Design. She can provide design solutions to suit a range of needs including logo design, business cards, event posters and social media posts.

Her final year of university she was very successful; The Arts department at La Trobe University assigned her to design the Creative Arts Graduate Catalogue for 2017. Maddison won a logo design competition, creating Melbourne’s Northern Football Netball League’s new logo.

In her time at The Articulate Pear Maddison has produced various logo designs and worked on multiple projects. She is looking forward to designing more logos and taking part in exciting new projects.

Oumi Karenga-Hewitt

Marketing Consultant

Oumi Karenga-Hewitt graduated from the University of Leicester with a Bachelor of English Language & Literature. She started her career as a web coordinator for The University of Leicester, where she created and managed websites and social media. She spent two years as a Digital Content Executive at a London-based educational communications agency before moving to Australia. After settling in Griffith, Oumi joined an agricultural machinery group where she managed advertising and marketing for two companies.

In 2015, Oumi completed the Squared Online Digital Marketing Course, a programme developed with Google and likes to keep up to date with new digital and social media platforms. She is involved in various different campaigns and projects covering tourism, agriculture, real estate and events.
